Facade Guidelines

  Façade guidelines are created to help create a unified vision for the look, feel, and construction of a town's downtown or corridors. All façade guideline elements should focus around providing the community with a cohesive appearance while creating unique places or spaces.

 A sign is how local businesses or service industries announce their specific goods, services, sales or other amenities. Signage requirements are prepared as a way to ensure that all businesses are required to meet the same standards.  

Downtowns and corridors often suffer from underutilized parcels or buildings that are negatively affecting the community's perception. Infill development will help bring these spaces back to life, but a set of guidelines to dictate where, when, and how are required to ensure the community vision is met.
